What roles have women played in rc besides trophy girls? Have they helped found any companies, do they race, anything?

About 8 years ago, the club I used to race at's president was female, she was very helpful and incredibly enthusiastic (not to mention a very talented driver), she was also the president for our state's r/c governing body for a while.
When a highway was going to go through where our track was, she chose a new location, arranged it with the council, did fundraising, got it set up, etc.
As an example of how profound an impact she had on racing in this state; since she retired from racing, racing in this state has all but died (atleast in the metropolitan area).. I'm working on correcting that however. :)

Thank you finally for replying with some use. I kind of figured there was some women drivers. Women also work in the companies, and I think one woman helped found the comapny BoLINK. I wish the BoLINK website was up and running, but they are currently under update.
