Best sport battery for cheap. AMPS, MAH, Quality VS Price

What is the best sport battery out there for the price? Meaning MAH and AMPS vs Price

-I mean any kinda pack. From anywhere. Like at towerhobbies all they have is like trinity. But Im talking like from stormerhobies, bruckner hobbies or whatever.
-I saw a 1500mah NI--CD integy pack for $10 at stormerhobbies.com It looks good!
-Also there is a 2400megatech NI-MH pack for $24
I want quality and durabiltiy at a great price! Please tell me your thoughs! List any other battery deals you know of too, thanks.

I personally like the bang for the buck Racer's Edge packs. We carry them at my LHS. The 1500's are $15, and the 1700's are $20.

They really arent all that bad, and for the price.. i think they are great for someone who is just tooling around.

I liked the duratrax packs I had (3) becuase they where so bomb proof! I accidently shorted it out and it still worked! Still works today and its 4years old! I bought a $40 2000mah team orion (never spending that much on one battery again) and accidently shorted it out the same way i did with the duratrax battery and it blew up and dont work anymore. also where can I check out these racer edge packs for mailorder? I dont live near you.

yes, orion's, if your really cheap tower's or radio shack batteries are the way to go, maybe if you wanna spend more integy and promatch:)

I would go with the Team Orion V-MAXX, you are not worried about volts, so you can go with high MaH rating, the Megatech packs are roughly the same price, but they are NiMH, which are probably not the best, so, I would go with the Team Orion, most bang for the buck, run-time wise.

i bought some 1500 dynasport packs and so did my uncle, they are great packs that last surprisingly long. They are also very very durable.

Are the 2400mah V-maxx packs Ni-cd?

Yes they are NiCd packs... and i would choose the orions over the others you have mentioned:cool:

The Trinity Amp Maxx 2 is the best 1500Mah in my opinion and they run under $15. If you can afford the V-Maxx packs I would try them. I actualy have been thinking about buying some myself.
