I've been trying for days to get a chat account, and when I submit the information, it just keeps saying that it can't send the activation key to my E-mail address! I checked my E-mail address which I've had for 5 years, and I typed it in right. There are no mail filters at all on my account and I should know since I get about 100 junk E-mails a day. Is it just me, or is everybody else having this problem too? Maybe THAT'S why nobody goes into chat rooms! Matt

e mail your info to stevep@airage.com i think he has to manually enter your information ... its a thing so the people that are bad get banned they cant go to the register thing and get a new account again.

The same thing happened to me.
Is there ever anyone in the chat at times?

jump up and down on one foot, tap your head and rub your stomach, and tell the rc gods you wanna chat, maybe they will pop out of their genie lamp or stove kettle or whatever and grant your wish! :D
 :D

The chat registration is wide open. All you have to do is enter a VALID EMAIL ADDRESS. I get notified every time there's a failed attempt to register, and the following are what's entered as "email" addresses:
sk8brdrpunk forgetting the @blahblah.com
aol forgetting the rest of the email address
www.imanidiot@aol.com entering email as a web address
The bottom line is, it takes a valid email address to get the registration key. There are some people that register with a valid email address, but the email containing the activation key is blocked by the ISP sometimes, but thats an issue to take up with the them.

well Jeep, in your case it's intentional, we just don't want you in there! :D j/k I'll have the web guys look into it. Like I said, I know some people are entering valid email addresses, but my God, the ones that can't figure out what a VALID EMAIL ADDRESS means - sheesh!!!!!!!
I'll let you know what we find.

I'm having a problem with being able to edit my profile, and have yet to get a response from anyone.
Steve, are you also the contact for BB problems?
If not, who may I contact and get an actual response rather than the automated one which doesn't solve my problem?

Oh i had assumed there was a problem with your registration automation. I tried my ISP supplied e-mail addy and a domain e-mail addy and neither worked. and got the same error as jeep. So i dont know if my ISP is blocking the e-mail or if a domain address is considered a blind address like hotmail or yahoo?

The chat is located at: http://chat.rccaraction.com
There appears to be a glitch with the registration, so you may not be able to register right now.

I know that hotamil cannot be used because I tried to use mine. I tried to use my N1tr0p1ec0@aol but that didn't work either. In about a half year I will probably have to get another username on here because we will be getting rid of our aol when the year expires, and then I won't get email replies, which I like. Would it be possible to get my username transfered over to a different email address? Could I do it myself? I don't want to loose all those posts.
