OMG. You need to have someone teach you how to set your needle settings!! As long as you dont run your engine lean, you wont ever have to replace your piston and sleeve. I have never replaced them and my engines run as strong as they did when i bought them. My engines always last for years. Only reason i get new ones is to go Faster.

well the second piston was going along real well...... than i was running it and all of a suden it died, not stall, but the piston stopped dead, so i took it out abd SEVERAL scratches in it...... so once i get this new one broke in i will prob be OK.......
oh do you kno wany thing about this??- http://www.radiocontrolzone.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=62808&goto=newpost

Well one thing is you better make sure your low end needle adjustment is rich because you said you tightened it all the way in! there is an idle screw which comes out on an angle in the carb this is what you want to adjust. Anyway it sounds like you carb isnt adjusted in one of a few different ways.
when the remote is on and at the neutral postion, you carb should only be open about 1 mm or so.
- if it wont close that much then adjust you throttle arm till it does. If it "phisically" wont close that much then the idle screw is set too high. Loosen it by turning it too the left until you can get the carb to close enough.
what i dont get is you said that the carb closes all the way. This doesent make any sense because if the carb closes all the way the motor will die. So i dont quite understand how its running away from you.
