How tough is your mp? What parts have you broke. Is it easy to build it? Who makes hopups. How are the stock shocks! If there not good what ones should i buy? How does it jump and go over things? What did rc car action say abouit it? I live in Fl so we have thick grass. Please let me know all the info if you have bad things to say say them i want to hear it all. Iam going to buy this or another monster and want to know whats better! Tell me what hopups i need if i get it if it needs them like a arms or? Thanks Kevin:D

Parts I've broke.

(2) pull starts
One the bolts worked loose and sprung the second I think I over tighten the bolts caused it to drag when I start it.

(1) CVA
thread lock your wheel nuts I think driving with the wheel nut loose is what cause it cause it hasn't broke again.

(1) Front Diff support (bulk head)
Clipped a mail box pole with the fair edge of the tire. I'm keeping my eyes on some tougher bulk heads coming out, until then I boiled the replacement and make it more flexible. Hasn't broke again, though I don't plan on hitting the mail box again to test it. :)

I have the newer plastic diff so far they've held up just fine.

I think the MP is very tough. This truck is big and fast and mine has been very durable. The only thing I've broken is a front shock shaft. I was flying down a big hill, hit a rut and clipped a big rock. The kit come 80% prebuilt. The manual sucks, but if you have any building experience you'll be OK. If you don't, it would be tough without some help. OFNA and SABR are making hop-ups. There are many aluminum and titanium goodies available now. A lot of people are drilling the shock pistons and running heavier oil to improve the stock shock performance. This chassis was originally a buggy, so the front shocks are a bit short. You can now buy a front shock tower that allows you to run longer shocks on the front. The truck climbs very well, but launching this 11lb monster into the air can be interesting. Let's just say it takes a little practice to safely land some big air. The thick grass should be no problem. The MP can handle almost any terrain. I think all of the kits now come with the improved stock differentials and 8mm axles. You can get aluminum diffs if you are concerned, but I've heard the new stock diffs hold up well. One thing that should be on your list is a very strong high quality steering servo. I also think a radio with end point adjustments is a plus for any nitro vehicle. Good Luck

I agree there. One peice I missed in my list is the steering servo horns, I've striped three now. I'm running a Hi-TQ MG servo (110oz/in@6V). So part might be the metal vs plastic and part art might be not having EPA on the controller I'm using.

I've broken lots of stuff, but I beat the cr*p out of it - if there's something I can jump off, I do it, and always at WOT. I've broken shock shafts, body posts, front a-arms, front bulkheads, stripped the spur gear, bend dogbones, cracked rims, etc., but I don't believe that there is a better truck out there right now. A buddy of mine has a T-Maxx, and his breaks also. There is not a truck out there that won't break if you run it hard enough.

jives its not yer servo.. its that yer using the stock servo horns.. the teeth count on the horns that come with the MP and in most ofna kits.. have inserts.. one with 24 spline for airtronics.. one with 26spline for futaba.. and none wit 25 for hitec servos..... thats the problem right there.

This is the servo (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p.pgm?Q=1&I=LXPB38&P=7) I'm using on mine. I only used one stock horn the other two came with other servos I bought. Can't say for sure it they were th one that came with the MG servo or not ( I just toss all them in a box for the most part), But I also use the same servo on my E-pede and I remember I had to change the insert in the servo saver to get to to work.

So your saying most likely I've got a 25 Spline servo? I'll have to look into that, be nice if that's the whole issue. Strange part about it was that that frist Onfa Horn I used lasted the longest out of the three
