micro monster truck

i am getting a hpi micro for christmas(hopefully) and am thinking about putting some plastic model tires on it, installing a speed 300 brushless moter, and changing the gear ratio so it will move the tires easier. do you think this is a good idea?

Yeah that does sound cool. If you ever do it, make sure to let the RCCA guys know. They'll probably at least get a pic of it in the readers rides section.

BRP makes a 1/18 scale truck body. It should fit on the Micro.

tperkins, it IS NOT brushless, it's CORELESS. there is a difference

there are speed 300 brushless mtors for airplanes. i will put one of these in there with the adapter motor mount.
