Do you just want setup information or hopup suggestions?

Both. Anything that you can do to both or one or the other that would improve racing, and others. What setups? What hop-ups? I wanna know it all.

Thanks in advance!

I have to think back a little. The CR rear end is a good thing to have. The white bulkheads were a nice inprovement over the black ones because it stretched less. As far as setups you should go to http://www.teamlosi.com/setups/xxcr/index.htm. I wish I could help you more but this is a good starting point. I do not remember any of my old setups for this car since it was 3 years ago since I had it. As far as general setup help I have a great cheat sheet on my web site. http://home.att.net/~casper04 that can help you get dialed in. Other hopups I can remember would be the general titanium ti rods, rear transmisson brace (the rear of this car was a little weak and with this brace (if you can still find one) helped out a lot.) Other then that the right tires and a lot of practice.

Hey thanks man. Although that wasn't exactly for my car it was close enough.
Is it possible to do a CR Rear END conversion for a XX and XXT?
I ask this because me and my cousin race locally in novice and stock truck and buggy classes. I am his tech advisor and mechanic, he drives and pays for parts.
Would it be worth the money to get the CR rear end for both the vehicles? What other hop-ups? What white bulkheads do you speak of? Where car we find the rear tranny brace? Where a good place to find Ti rods?

Thanks a lot man! You're a godsend!

Could never find anyone who dealt with older Losi cars.

These are the standard setup sheets for the non CR cars which are really old. As far as the white front bulkhead this is the part of the car that the inner arms attach to and the front shock tower along with the top chassie brace. The white ones just keep the front end from being sloppy longer. Not really a neccessary thing. As for the rear tranny brace. It is just a small piece of metal you put on the top of the tranny were the screws attach the tranny case to the rear shock tower. My loca hobbyshop has one in there case I saw last night. Call 714-963-7484 or visit www.socalrc.com for more info on how to get if from them. I am not sure who else still has them or part numbers for them since the were aftermarket parts. There were a lot of companies that made variations of the same thing. When you get it it will not look like much but believe it or not they do help a lot. The CR rear end conversion can be done easily. All you need are CR rear arms (XXX rear arms are the same as the CR) losi part number A-2131, a CR rear pivot block losi part number A-2113, CR rear hubs losi part # A-2126 and a rear pivot plate losi part number A-2107. This change just moves the rear toe in for the car from the hubs to the pivot support which makes the arms swing fwd. It helps with the handing of the car. Most all cars after the XXCR have this type of toe in. I hope this helps out! I think the whole change costs around $30.

Here is a quick check to see if you have the CR rear end on the car already. The plate on the chassie where the tranny sits if this part is one piece with the arm attachments molded into the plate you have the old rear end on the car. If there is a block that attaches to the plate that the tranny sits in the you already have the cr rear end. I hope this kind of makes sense.

xx-t and xx parts arent discontinued. since i have one stored i nthe back of my shop here i use them sometimes. and i have found plenty of parts for them all you go to do is know the part number and get your lhs to order them. www.teamlosi.com will help you find your way. most of the time the best replace ment is to upgrade to the xxx-t mfe style transmission. since it is almost the same cept a one peice top gear and and some other benificiary parts that would help the depend ability. And if any of you think xx parts are hard to find try finding parts for a JR. T they are a pain. since most of them ARE discontinued. Peace.
