What is the Best Buggy on the Market?

I am going to be getting a new buggy for christmas and was wondering what you guys think is the very best made. Money really isnt an object but I do want it to be a 1/10 electric. I am mainly trying to decide between the Associated B3 Factory Team and the Losi XXX Kinwald.

Granted I do drive the XXX but most people will agree weather they are B3 drivers or XXX drivers the XXX is a better car. AE needs to do some work. As far as trucks I think they T3 and the XXX-T are about as fast but handle differently. I would go with the XXXKE. It is a GREAT deal and a better car.

I also run a T3 and they are both great and part readily availiable!!!

Now a days most the buggies are pretty much the same, just the drivers are different!

Its all about setup and driving skills. I have a XXX kinwald. Jeepinator smokes me with his B3 because he has it dial'd. And he is a better driver. I believe it is more impressive to win racing a underdog car without all the mods because it shows true driving talent.
So dont go by people say one is better. I picked the XXX because the B3 is old, and I didnt want to buy a B3 and then have the B4 come out two months later. I dont think we will see a XXXX any time soon. I hope:rolleyes:

Yes I know, it boils down to what BuckNaked said - driving skills and set-ups.

I know you can probably give a pro a piece O car and have him tweak it and do real good with it. Granted running a fx-10 or blackfoot against a xxx-cr or t3 is not feasible unless you want to waste money and get in other peoples way. Not competitive in todays time.

Each person has their own likings and that is great, if they did not everyone would be the same and that is not fun or right.

I have grown up using A.E. products and partial to them based on I like them and I can get parts more easily than any other manufacture. Tried other manufactures and did not like them.

All the rc vehicles are becoming the same anyways - look at the Evader ST - pieces of Losi, A.E. who knows what else. The only problem they have now is everything is breaking. I know they have the replacement guarentee but you have to wait and to me that is not a quality product if it breaks after only little light use.

Just have fun and do not get frustrated!!! Get what you can afford and drive it until you are the best you can be then upgrade. Too many people spend large $$$ for Matt Francis cars or Factory Team rc-10s when they start and think having all this good stuff will make them win. 98% of the time they waste money because they should have gotten an entry level car and progress and end up destroying the car or truck trying to race - seen it to many time.

Seen a kid in novice class driving a rustler go everywhere on the track them slide and met a pole in the corner of the track and snapped the truck in half. I would spend $100 or less on a truck compared to $200 or more and have it break.

Just my 2 cents.

I would say that the xxx grapbite kinwald edition is the absoulute best on the market.Your lucky getting any one buggy you want!!:(

I really did not want to get involved in the type of my car is better then yours. Both XXXKE and the FT B3 are great values and great cars. Both can win if and only if you are good yourself. The car will not win for you. What I do know is that more then one person has switched and been faster for it. Not because there driving skills but because the car helped to go faster because they could set it up better. Now both cars have there + and - and depending on your driving style you may be faster with one or the other. You really cannot go wrong with either car. They can both get you to the winners circle and have the majority of the hopups you would already want to get so you might as well get them in the kit. Good luck with what ever you choose. As far as parts availablitly you should be able to get parts for both just about anywhere. I cannot say that for the Kyosho ultima although it is a great car also.

yeas it doesnt really matter what kind of car u have it matters how you drive. even if it is an old or new car.
for example i have a xx-cr, b3 ft and an evader and about to get a t3. but when i was using my xx-cr it would beat the pants off of a xxx-cr because i could out drive them. i mean im not saying the xxx or b3 or evader is a bad car but the xx-cr is an easyily tunabe car and runs great:)

Everybody who is saying that experience is what makes people win are right. Take me for example. I am racing with my friend's Radio Shack car at my lhs and I have already beaten three T-Maxxes and two B3s. It all depends on how good you are. I would by the XXX.

According to Associated there is no B4 in the works. I don't know if I should believe him though. I had heard rumors of a B4 also and was planning on waiting. Like the other guys said though, the B3 and XXX drive differently. It just depends on your driving style. Personally I am an Associated guy.

hey i have a factory team b3 with all the racing goodies and i love it i have 4 ae cars and there all grrrrreat but i seen the xxx ke at my track and everyone is getting 1 there killing the ae guys like me i would say get a xxx ke its a nice buggy but its up to u there both real nice buggys:D
