does the txt do the major weight transfer when it launches from a dead stop, and when u hit the breaks.
another words, if it were sitting still and i droped the hammer would the back end sink and the front go sky high keeping all 4 wheels on the ground and when it stops does it do the exact opisit. (real monster truck style)???????????

Randy.... I just finished bulding my new TXT kit. And like jeep said one wheel wheelies in either direction come "built in". This thing is a blast to drive. I took it over some major rocks yesterday and I was surprised at how well it behaved. The suspension and those big soft pillows (tires) one each corner made the climbing a piece of cake. I love this beast!!!!

That's a very nice truck! I think I would put some mod motors and a speed contro in there. Basically copy the E-maxx electronics with the EVX and some BaddMaxx motors. Awesome!

Here (http://www.projecttwin.com/txt.htm) are some pics of my TXT with E-Maxx tranny.
It's a good combination.

Doc, Those pics are awesome. And thanks for the info on the TXT-1 , just what I needed to know before building the kit. First thing I'm going to do is get the rest of the bearings, then I getting an ESC, and a "Y" thingy to connect two batteries. I was wondering how to connect the motors in series  and dang if you didn't explain and show how to do it at your site. That site is a wealth of information, Thanks again :D

Wear out MT Tires? LOL I have the same tires on my Bullhead and original Blackfoot.
I purchased both of them about a month form their original release date way back when.....
Buy aftermarket if TTR are not supporting their product?

believe me mate, i measured the profile on the truck when new and i allready lost 0.2 cm in a few weeks.
this truck pops wheelies and spins so hard on tarmac that the smoke comes from the wheels.
i defenetly will need replacements :D

Smoke from the wheels?:p Maybe it's smoke from your electronics?:D This truck has only been out since Sept. Even if I drove it 8hrs a day and 7days a weeks. My tires would not need replacement. And I have 12x2 motors running 2 super chickens with 2x2400mah 7.2 packs. Sounds like you have a traction problem? Mine will pull wheelies but I get great traction.

J Anderson... sounds like the last two chaps Hooligan and BUTTY are talking about the EK4........ not our beloved TXT-1. I can wheelie mine at will but the only place I get wheelspin is in grass, dirt or sand. I think hooligan was just checking on tire size in the eventuality that he needs ot replace his EK4 tires.

I do not recommend series wiring of the motors because your TXT will be way to slow. Parallel wiring is the only way to go in my opinion. If you want to learn how to wire your truck in parallel see my TXT FAQ (link is below):

Hooligan, the people that run those battery powered wheel chairs,(Sorry I mean mt's), don't know what power is.I could wear out a set of tires on my MB in a month.Considering I was doing bleach burnouts on asphalt,( and that was an absolute blast). :p :D :p

The TXT adapters are 6.5mm wider, have 8 mm nibs on the back where as the Clods and Juggies have 4mm.
