My uncle used to have one. we didn't like it. handles terrible. with any kind of a strong engine it would push to the left. and didn't turn very well at all. I wouldn't waste the money.

It probably handle terrible b/c
1. Need 1/8 shocks
2. need sway bars
3. 70+ oz-in torque steering servo
4. mine handles great!

do you have the problem with it pulling to the left under power? It was stock except for the o.s. engine.

My freind has one and I think that it ROCKS for a basher. It seems like that he is always stripping out the gears. I think that someone makes some stronger ones. But all & all i like it.:p :D :rolleyes:

On the usa-1 forum i've listed my mods. I put the steel gears from my inferno and pitch the aluminum one. I think they use steel on the mp7.5 sport now but the harden steel gears are a must!
I have no problem steering with my airtronic 94738 servo. It's rated 70-77 oz-in torque i think. The reason i didn't upgrade that is because the servo savor is kind of weak and it would matter. Mine steers great! I setup the steering myself. When it saids on the instructions to prebend the rods, i laughed! Yeah right so it can bend even more when i crash?. I can't believe they suggested such a thing!
Pulling to the left?? Sound like your suspention is not tunned. Your not using the junk leaky black shock are you? Try locking the center diff. I think your rear dip down too much and your front diff is working under load.

If your buying one tmaxxbasher, i'd suggest a monster pirate also. Much cheaper. The major concern i have with that truck is that i wish it comes with metal bulkheads on the front. It's the way ofna design stuff that questions me but it breaks. I've ran my usa-1 full speed and dented one of those huge tin cans. Nothing broke! My shocks tires, and pipe came off! It's pretty strong but expensive truck.
Go with the mp it's a great deal! If you have the cash why not convert your tmaxx into a .21 beast?

i've got a supermaxx with a .21 already.I was just looking for a truck to really beat to death,but i'm thinking about a buggy now.I'm so confused!!!!! MAY 2002 i get 900 dollars to spend(savings)

The mp6 is 352 right now at tower and it's still going down. Using the xmas cupon it's like 20 off. It's a good deal to have a good buggy to bash around.

I got a USA1 nitro with a RG .21 and I have yet to break it. I run my truck hard in sand, dirt and rain and its still kickin like its new. You can find the USA1 on tower for as low as 255 sometimes. If you get a USA1 nitro, I would reccomend the OS . 21 RG. Ill post pics pretty soon.
