Hi, I guess this has been asked a million times, but what is the wind of the standard Titan(s)? I'm guessing they're singles, about 20 turns? (no info at traxxas.com).

Any figures/stats on how long they will last?

I'm getting an E-Maxx for Christmas, and will probably ditch the Titans as soon as I can afford some better motors, probably Monster Maxx Wild or Pro.

Thanks,

FP.

The Titans are 23 turns, most likely 23x1. The truck is fast stock, wheelies on command. There really is no reason to ditch the stock motors.

From what I have heard, the Trinity motors wear like crazy. They wear like they are 7.2 volt motors, running on the 14.4 volts!

I would get the Reedy Bad Maxx motors for replacing the stockers.

Thanks for the advice. I will use the stock motors until they wear out.... I just figured they wouldn't last long.

I'll check out the Reedy Bad Maxxes too.

I also have a E-Maxx and was going to ditch the stockers to get Trinity and have heard all over the place that the Stockers are good morots and will last awhile. The Trinitys just dont last long at all. Invest in heat sinks for the motor though they do get pretty hot. I use the ones for a TC3 they work great.

Wow! Slow down, the Titan motors wear out? Highly unlikely, Traxxas designed the motors to last a long time. Foget the motors, the E-Maxx can be geared to 50:1 so, need more power? Buy a new gear! The Titans are powerful, but yes I have weaseld my way in rocks as big as the truck with a spool front and rear with each tire touching a rock and got it stuck from lack of power, but how often does that happen?

A bit OT here but do you think the Titan would work well in the E-Pede as well?

>>Edit<<

Duh disregard Titan 14V, Pede on 7.2V

Jives, if you had an EVX in there, it would work great. Try getting an EVX, hooking one set of wires up to the motor, and the other set up to a fan, or something to that effect.

I think at the point I buy a EVX and a titian motor I'll just get the rest of the E-Maxx with it :)

That sounds like a plan, hehe.:)
