Heres some video I shot on my E-Pede in action.
Whole Video 40M (http://spud.unl.edu/video/E-Pede.mpg)
Same video just broke into 4 parts
Part 1 (Curbs) (http://spud.unl.edu/video/E-Pede_Part_1.mpg)
Part 2 (http://spud.unl.edu/video/E-Pede_Part_2.mpg)
Part 3 (http://spud.unl.edu/video/E-Pede_Part_3.mpg)
Part 4 (http://spud.unl.edu/video/E-Pede_Part_1.mpg)
Part 4 shows why sometimes I really like the BEC and other times I don't :)

"Cautious"? Not really with my E-Pede. Man I tried to get it to do something but the thing don't go fast enough to hurt itself. :) All those hits on the curbs are at full speed with the Stock ESC and 20T motor.
The shooting conditions where a bit adverse as well, had to can the audio track cause of the howling wind, fingers started to numb after awhile, loss some good shoots cause of the shadows. Didn’t get a very cool summersault on tape, cameraman was looking over to make sure he wasn’t going to get hit by a car and missed it :( A few of the more eventfully tries got edited out cause they resulted on me running out and flipping it back over.
It was as hard getting up speed on that gravel and control it for that matter, plus all the tire spinning ate up the battery life. Figure I shot less than 15minutes of Raw footage and went through 4 batteries.
Better Batteries and a Better Motor and I’ll be back there again, yup never get enough of those gullies and tumble weeds :)
Also happens to be very close to my house and away from too many people.
Anyone else got any E-Pede video?

How big is the file? As long as it isn't too big or contains a Copyrighted materials I might be able to slap it up for you.

Ok what I shot all this with was my Panasonic Mini-DV which is a Digital video Camera. I also have a Dazzle DV-Bridge to do Analog stuff with. But for either you need a firewire card (IEEE1394).
They make some USB capture devices just the Quality in low but they are cheap. And if you already have a Camcorder and analog stuff...
Mini-DV Cam about $600
DV-Bridge about $300 (likely to come with editing software, but still requires analog source ie camcorder)
Then $30 to $40 for a Firewire card.
Plus lots of hard drive storage and a pretty powerfully machine. 60 minutes of DV type 2 is about 10G

Well getting the video into the PC is the first step, after that it's only a matter of finding a host.
Oh it also help to have Hi-Speed internet to upload the files as well :)

DV-bridge? You don't need no DV-bridge. For a digital camcorder all you need is a firewire. I use my Sony TRV-120 (couple years old) and a firewire card, that's it (well except for a cheap analog camcorder for on-board streetluge shots... which I still need to get a new charger for).
However, it is true that you need a powerful computer and plenty of memory (Hmm, I need another new HD... but I'll have to replace one of the three, oh well, I can use it in the testing computer) and RAM, can't have enough RAM... speaking of which I need more. Oh well, at least my computer is relatively fast. But that's beyond the subject.
Hmm, maybe I should do some vid's of my cars, all I've bothered to do were pix of the bodies before I thrashed them.
However, I do think you could've compressed the file a little, or downplayed the size and quality a little to reduce the file size. Not for me, but for the others, who're on 56K connections.

FrankW,
Yeah I know I have both, for "new" I use my DV-Cam but I have a mass of old analog stuff. Some of the Sony’s Support Analog IN DV OUT, which basically makes it a DV Bridge. My Panasonic does not support this.
As to compressing further, not really likely at this time. I make my videos VCD compatible and I don't want to waste space on my web server by having multiple copies on the same video in different format. I mainly only use MPEG (for Linux), I could compress to MPEG2 or Divx but then they would need the Codec or a separate program (plus hits the Hardware harder too). Lowering the file size could also means shortening the video, making the frames smaller or lowering the quality. Right now I’m running about 10M a minute and the other compressions Ives tried, which were 5M and 1M, looked like a little blurs with wheels.
Over at www.creepo.net there is a Windows Streaming of my MP video which someone else did and is really about the only near cool video I’ve done. Your not missing much if you don’t see the other one they were just I had the Cam so I shot them. I never set out to make videos for streaming. (Gets into a bunch of politics about why I despise most of the streaming formats)
If you read My R/C Page (http://eeshop.unl.edu/jpages/jrc.htm) I have a disclaimer for 56ker's. So right now for 56kers, the only thing I can tell them is if they know someone with broadband and a CD-Writer, is have them D/Led it and put it on disk. I know if you use Nero and select Video CD format that you can play it in many Home DVD players that support VCD as well as the PC.
OT I do my editng on a Dual 1.2G Athlon MP with 768M RAM and IBM 40G drive. But I store all my files to my server which has 220G of storage.
Little outdated now but My PC Page (http://eeshop.unl.edu/jpages/jcpu.htm)
