I replaced the wire going to my Futaba servo and everything works great. Only question I have is what is the white rubbery stuff that was on the sauder connection? Once I figure that out, should I replace it with some more white rubbery stuff?

If I understand your question right that is a moisture seal...it's there to help keep water out of the electronic part of the servo.

Try using a small amount of white silicon waterproof caulking

Yeah, that white stuff is called RTV, & it's mainly used to seal a connection(or seam) from moisture contamination. As far as I know, most forms of silicone sealant(like the GE stuff you can buy at WalMart & most anywhere) will do just as well.......:)

Oh, & if you try to reapply that stuff, just make sure that whatever you buy is non-conductive. Otherwise, you could short out the board.....:)
