I am having a problem with burning out my friction pegs on my
T-Maxx I not have my slipper to tight, but my pegs just wear out real fast. I have heard that you can use BB's to replace the friction pegs, Robinson Racing say's that you can use Dif Ball Bearings also.. As anyone heard anything like this?

Anyone have any suggestions?

Also I have a new MIP Stinger Pipe that I would like to sell or trade if you are intrested e-mail me.

If you have any information about the friction pegs please by all means e-mail me back..

Best Reguards,
John

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year ! ! !

Don't know anything about diff balls but you can use 12 pegs. Full6y compress spring and out 1/8th to 1/4 turn. You do need to change out every once in awhile.

Accually.. You might want to tighten the slipper. It may be wearing out due to exessive slip.

I just got my e-maxx and after a minute my slipper clutch had a hole melted right through it. This covered the whole slipper clutch in melted plastic :( All this because i forgot to check the slipper clutch was done up properly. Now i have to wait for a new one :(

Do you mean the spur had a hole melted though it?

I have seen that with a T-maxx before, Generally it is because it was WAY too loose, and it heated up.

yeah the spur gear had a hole melted through it. after 1 min. DO THEM UP TIGHTER TRAXXAS or put a big sticker on them saying tighten. now i have to wait a week just to run my brand new e-maxx.

I must be pretty lucky as I havn't had any problems with my truck that I haven't caused myself. Like running into trees, curbs, and other objects.

But yes the pegs do need to be replaced from time to time. At least Traxxas put a slipper clutch on the truck to help absorb the punishment the drivetrain has to survive.
