Anyone have any experience converting the Dare Sopwith Pup 22" span model to RC with GWS motor and pico flightpack? I think I'll be starting on that one soon.

Hi Allen
I fly and crash a home brewed 30" Pup that is very near scale. Due to the short nose, mount the heavy stuff as far forward as possible and make the aft fuse as light as possible. I power it with a GWS 280 and 270 mah nicads. It came in at 11 ounces and flys good and looks good in the air. I used near scale airfoil and as a result the wings are limber and the struts fall off in tight manuvers. I wish you luck and look forward to seeing your results.
