well that all depends on the class of car you are looking at. Certainly there are better cars out there but they are a lot more expensive. What's nice about the HPI cars is they have a inexpensive basic model with lots of hopups available to turn them into a full blown racer. But if you have the money right away you can save some in hopups by buying a car that's allready well equipt.

plus, they use philips screws for their parts and not allen, so its slightly easier to find more bulk sets when you really need it :)
