Hello all R/C nuts,
Does anyone know of a inexpensive lap counting system that can keep track of 3 or 4 cars at once?
I have a track built and would like to start having some informal racing but haven't been able to find a lap counting system yet.
Also would like it to be semi portable because going to set up a indoor micro rs4 track too.
THanks

Look in the December 2001 and Jan 2002 issues, I think there is one in one of the mags.

The problem with the Orion LCS is it only counts for one car at a time. I don't know of any system that counts multiple cars without needing a computer and wires and transponders. I'm pretty sure most of those systems price themselves out of the range of a backyard track.

I believe Bolink is now the distributor for AMB though. You might try looking for them to see what the actual cost of an AMB system is.

Thanks for the Info.
Yea from what I could see the LCS only keeps track of 1 car.
I have a spare computer so that isn't a problem, and the price of transponders are low enough to invest in, Just need the rest. I'll look for the Amb set up and see if they have something that would work.
