Hi, i am rebuilding my diffs on my on-road nitro car and i was wandering about the setups for them, how it would affect the speed/handling if the front and back diffs were set stiffer/lighter.

Thanks

If you have them set for stiffer, you will get less inner wheel spin then turning, making turns faster, but you may not get as much turning. If you have them set softer for more slip, you will get better turning, but more inner wheel spin in turns, and less speed.

In the straightaways, it won't have any effect because the diffs aren't in action.

I tend to set my cars up with the front diff a little looser foro more steering. It all depends on how your car is set up. If you need more steering loosen the front or tighten the rear.
