O.K.

I am having some big problems with glitching. Right I give it WOP It starts to glitch and it wont stop uness I turn off the car. I have tried different recievers and crystals with the same results every time(glitching). I was in a room with flourecent lights and I thought that might be the problem, so I took my truck outside and the sme thing happend. The crystals and recievers have always worked in the past and this has just started to happen recently and is getting worse each day. I really need help with this as raceday is tommorow.
BTW I am using the following electronics:
Novak Hammer Pro Esc
JR Z250 servo
jr xr2 radio
reedy mvp
1500 sport pack
and this is in a XXX-T MFE

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Rcguy49

first off are your transmitter batteries fully charged?

Next thing I would check is to make sure that the motor capacitors are on. Also do you have a sckotty diode in place?

Thats all I can think of right now.

As has already been mentioned start with schotzky diode and capacitors. They are essential!

Twist the engine wires togethor, both the positive and negative wires emit an electrical field, twisting them togethor nullifies the field.

Keep ALL wires up off the frame of the truck, even a mm will be enough.

Keep the receiver as far from the motor as possible.

Make sure your antenna wire is not nicked and is the factory pre-set length. Do not twist any excess around the tube either.

Isolate your receiver from your frame, once again even a mm will help. Just the width of velcro is enough.

Make sure the batteries are shrink wrapped and there is no battery/frame contact. If you don't use shrinkwrapped batts' then lay something under them.

Make sure your motor connectors (if you use em') are tight and have not been overheated. Look for discoloration.

If none of the above works and your POSITIVE all batts' are good then wrap your receiver in aluminum foil, no poop! It works to insulate it from outside interferance.

These are just a few of many tricks you pick up. Sounds like your biggest problem is a lack of diode and capacitors.

Good luck!
