I am working on a buddies T-Maxx and he for some reason has a lot of money to blow on it. So far I have ordered over $600 in aluminum parts for it. He told me he wanted to convert it to a .21. So then I told him about the 3-speed. So of course now he wants a 3-speed .21 T-maxx with Ofna MP or monster blazer tires. What size hubs come with a t-maxx? Does anyone make a conversion to fit MP wheels or the 19mm wheels off a Blazer on a T-Maxx? Can someone give me some links for the .21 conversion. Thanks for any help.

The blazer rims as well as the MP rims are 17mm, and ofna makes adapters( I hope u got blue aluminum). Im not 2 sure about mp tires with a 3 speed in a T-Maxx, and it might be a while before a .21 can be put in with the 3 speed.

I was referring to the monster blazer. They are 19mm. For some reason he likes those rims. I haven't shown him some of the aluminum ones available yet. Who knows what this truck will turn into. He got it less then a month ago and already has over a grand in it. Sheesh

You cannot use the 3-speed with tires any larger than 1/8 scale buggy tires. I am not sure if the gearing in the 3 speed will work with a .21.

Since he is wanting to convert it to .21 it is possible to convert it to 3-speed and keep the T-Maxx tires. The kit is $100 for the 3-speed. It says you can you can use the stock T-Maxx tires and keep the monster truck stance. So probably a little over $400 and it will be one mean son-o-beech. Now I am just looking for the best .21 conversion. I was looking at one that came with the motor but I have lost the link to it. Can someone help?
Thanks for all the help guys. I really appreciate it.
