does anyone remember the Fogalman wing of the late 60's early 70's? It had a very high lift/low drag co and for a while lift theory was at a loss as to how it worked?
thanks

The K-V airfoil was presented in OMNI magazine [I believe it was] quite a few years ago now. Folded paper glider, which from my experience - I've held the National and World Records for indoor HLG, so my experience might count for something - looked pretty weak.
Time passed and some tests were done - nothing like that in the original article, just wild claims - that pretty well cleared things up. In very specific conditions, exact break points, angle of attack, airspeeds and R/N, there were some vorteces formed that had a minor beneficial effect.
A flash in the pan. Not something to worry your head about.
