Adam... I'm sure you rebuilt the shocks properly but the question must be asked... did you make sure there is no air in them???

uhhh.... this is a HUGE forum and there's thousands of active people..

How do you mean too saggy? Correctly set up the rear dogbones/cvds/etc should be level with the ground. At the front the suspension arms should also be level with the ground.
I think you should try softer springs to reduce the rebound, and add more preload to the springs (move the clips down)

Did you make sure to put the front shocks on the front, and rear to the rear because I think the front and rear have different shaft lengths. You have something seroiusly wrong there, make sure the longer shocks are in the rear.

BTW: The forums are NOT slow, this is probably one of the quickest message boards for rc around.

well there is no air in them im sure i read in r/c car action magazine how to rebuild the shocks step by step. im sure front springs are on the front and the rear springs are on the rear. i fixed the problem by cutting some older springs and adding them to them like WORKS suspension for 4 wheelers, it seems to work great. when i said rebound i meant preload, when i compress the shocks they came out really slow. what i did seems to work good tho. My CVDs and front a arms are level now, i liek them tighter because i like to jump the best, with how i jump my truck im suprised it hasnt broke.
OH and BTW: these forums are slow compared to the ones i ussually post in, These are the fastest R/c car forums, but for Paintballcity.com you ask a question its answered VERY quickly. Everyone doesnt have to get all pissed because i said they were slow thats my opinion and you all have yours.

Hi Adam, I belived we have talked before. I also have the team Kit like you and had the same problem. My front was fine and back was saggy. I put gold springs in the rear and 2 thick spacers and 1 little one. It seems to help a little. Also if you fill you shocks a little higher with oil it may help. I think I am going to try 40 wt in the rear and 30-35 in the front. Good luck and let me know how it works.

alright ill probably pick up some gold springs sometime, they are the hardest you can get right? im going to replace my shock o-rings to, i may have a very small leak in one of them.
Thxs for the advice timmy.

I belive there is one type of spring that s harder but I forget what it is. Thta is a good idea to check your o-rings, I always seem to break them when I rebuild my shocks so i keep around an extra bag. If you can find the some company makes blue o-rings and they seem to work a little better. I have to say I always have a response within a hour of posting unless it is some very strang question. Good Luck and I hope it helps

I hated having to put those stupid little spacers in the shocks, now I have aluminum threaded body shocks :D

It says to fill the shock half way, get the air bubbles out, then fil it full and fill the cap full, screw the shock cap on not all the way and compress the shock arm in al the way and let the excess oil bleed out. then close the shock cap. i did it exactly step by step in r/c car action magazine. i did it fine you can read it if you want.

the shock is filled with oil fine, i did it the same on the fronts and they work flawless. i just need o-rings and harder springs.
Thxs for the help.
