The stampede is more of a hobby-level truck than the blackfoot.
Parts & upgrade availability is better for the stampede, too.
(Well, at least here...but I live 2 miles from TRX HQ;) )

There both good trucks. The stampede has more hop ups. But performance wise there pretty close when it comes to handling. I think the stampede comes with a 20 t motor, and oil filled shocks. The King Blackfoot comes with a 540 standard chrome can motor, and friction type damper shocks. The King Blackfoot includes a model quality detailed body, the stampede has a sort of dodge ram style body. The King Blackfoot as far as I know is very tough, and should be able to take a major thrashing. The Stampede is more lightly biult but will take a pretty good thrashing also, but not as much as the King Blackfoot before something breaks.
For me as a fan of the original Blackfoot I think the best deal would be the Stampede becuase of its upgradability, and you can get a fully RTR version of it. But the King Blackfoot is a good deal also becuase of its model quality detailed body, and the overall quality of the kit.

Tamiya doesn't make a nitro Blackfoot.

Stampede-
Lots of aftermarket support.
Super durable, I have seen people jump them off their house roofs and keep going.
Better handling and more features than the King Blackfoot.
Go out there and compare features price aftermarket companies that make parts for it ect ect...

ok thanks all i have a rustler but i want a full truck thats pretty resonable in price and durability.

get a king blackfoot or an original blackfoot. Then put ball bearings on it and a dyna run racing stock motor or a super tuned motor.then it would smoke a pede any day and pulls wheelies. If you don't wannna paint it black do an odd collor like tamiya's X-15 acrylic light green (looks more like lime green). i painted mine light green and it looks awsome. it's also only 105 dollars from tower hobbies
