Has anyone converted an Ace Hobby Simple ME109 for electric. It states on the web site that it is compatible but there are no indication in the plans for battery placement etc.
I am kind of assuming that the space normally used for the fuel tank should be re-used to make sure the CG stays about the same.
Also, what about changes to the bulkhead and how to mount the engine?

Any help would be appreciated.

I am building an Ace Corasir presently. I plan to add a balsa support about 3/4" back from the motor bulkhead and put a pair of dowels through the bulkhead to the extra support with the dowels extending out of the bulkhead to the front by 75% of the motor lenght so that I can mount the motor with rubber bands. This is a safe strong mount and is also flexible enough for non perfect landings and allows thrust line adjustments.

It is beast to make a hatch on the top of the fuse over where you plan to put the battery pack. You will most likely have to do some fooling around to get the CG right aftger that velcro is your friend.

The Ace series are heavy to start so watch your weight.
