Ok has anyone ever weighed all the aluminum aftermarket parts? I would love to put aluminum all over my MP but how much heavier would it be? Im doing everything to lighten it, and im thinkin that would probably add quite a bit of weight?? I think ill just get the bulks probably, ive only broke one bulk and it was because i cliped a mailbox leg doing close to 50. I have never broke an A-arm so screw it.
They do look bad ass though

If you really wanted to lighten it you should just replace everpart with carbon fiber, then It would be super light and super strong. Exept I don't think I've ever seen carbon fiber parts, I'm sure there are though. Or you could just blow a s***load of money and make everything titanium, that would be cool! Either of those would be better. Aluminum is cheaper, but it is pretty damn heavy. But you did say you already have a really crazy motor right? So your MP could probably handle, go for it!

Yeah actually i am going to get the Titanium kit from sabr. Only thing is that there aerent any titanium bulks or arms. I WISH! But If they dont ever come out with them then i will just get the aluminum bulks i think and keep the stock arms. Like i said i never broke them any way. Yeah your right though this motor could easily handle it. I am just one of those people that has to squeeze every little bit lol. Oh yeah buy the way powerline makes plates and towers out of graphite for the MP.

You know i believe they do, but the only section of their website that is working right now is the Monster Pirate section. So i would say probably but youll have to call them.

That's cool, is the site just powerline.com, or is it something else?

Graphite is hella strong, very stiff if it is backed with something like kevlar, or it can flex alot if you sparsely back it with kevlar.

Graphite is slightly more durable than Carbon Fiber, because it will flex slightly, carbon fiber is stiff as hell and only flexes if you design it to.

you can make custom carbon fiber peices by making a fiberglass mold, then doing this long process of fitting and finishing and all this other stuff, i dunno, i knew some guy that explained the whole process to me, he made carbon fiber dashboards for cars, but i forget all of his instructions, oh well, it was way to complicated for me to actually do, i was just to damn lazy :(
