Recommendations for a MICRO RECEIVER

I need some input/advice. I'm involved with the Micro Air Vechicle research project at the University of Florida and have hit a snag. I need to find a micro receiver that will work up to 2000 feet away and weigh less than 10 grams. Does anyone have some ideas or recommendations? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

FMA Extreme 5 would be the only one I can think of. You'll probably want to do some lightening by removing the shrink-wrapping. Since you're doing research, you can probably save some more weight by using a lighter crystal.

And excuse me for being nosy, but you need 2000 foot range on a micro vehicle? How are you going to see it that far away to control it?
