This is a nice docile plane. Flies smooth and builds easy enough. Not to mention looks great! I have the white colored one.

There are 2 things I did not like, OK 3. First. The motor. Crappy no name 280 with horst gearbox. got a few flights and it wore out. Put a Graupner 280 with an MP-Jet gearbox and works fine now. #two complaint. You have to take the top cover off to swap batteries. You can charge the batteries inside the plane but still an odd thing. I may have to make a 'hack' to remove the cells easy. #three. The wheel pants suck. Toss them.

Other than that the fiberglass fusalage is very nice and the covering on the wings and tail feathers was well done. Over all a nice plane that I enjoy flying.

Heck of a nice score then!

The Hitech HS-50 or 55 servo's would be perfect. The GWS recievers or the Hitech 555 are perfect. Of course get the correct reciever for your radio.

You mentioned that the cove had to come off before you could remove the battery. On this plane the person who built it mounted the battery just behind the prop below the motor. The body has a cut out where you find a air inlet for the cooler. It is very easy to remove the battery and put it back. Thought it may be of some help. If I get a chance I will post some pictures:)

Yepper I am familiar with that method of battery mounting. I use bigger batteries than the stock setup so that doesn't work well for me. That should be just fine for your setup :)

Well I finally flew the Nora. A friend helped me with the set up to make sure the cg was right , servoes set up correctly:" WIngs firmly attached!

We hand launched it with no problems the plane went straight and level, no nose diving for the ground!! The winds were about 10 to 15 steady made it a little tricky but for the first flight it went well. I am happy with it. Thanks again for the help..
