out of personal opinion wich is better bang for the buck: IPC pro sport, novak dually, novak atom( or is it really worth it to upgrade to a cyclone, or quantam super sport

M opinion is if you race for a living by the cyclone. If you race and don't want to worry about programing your speed control try the dually. There is a lot of us at the track with the dually. No problems, great performance and easy to use. That's my opinion.

Go with the Dually. I love mine, and it is really easy to use. Also, do not forget the great customer service of Novak.

Buy a Tekin esc of ebay. They made some of the best esc's for the best price before they went out of buisness.:(

Why don't any of you like the ipc pro sport? It's an awesome esc! No motor limit (of course) and it is really durable. I have one and i got it wet and it stayed alive (actually i got it soaked as hell) LRP is a great brand and its part of associated i think! All i know is that IPC's are awesome. Not to disencourage you from getting a dually because i have heard really good of them but i mean why pay extra for a double programming one? It's not like you actually use it much

Actually you can soak any esc and it will be fine as long as no current is running trough it and its totaly dried before you put current in it again.(dont try though, unless its something you dont care about because there can still be moisture in it) The dually has no motor limit too, and dual profile. 1500 mhz frequency to 7500mhz frequency.. awesome!!! Comes with everything you need too (except connectors for battery and motor which can be taken off your old msc or esc. Dually is great, and its the second lowest resistance novak makes!! first is the 130 dollar cyclone. I think novak dually is the best bang for the buck. Plus it comes with awesome decals!! :D Its got a 4 - 7 cell limit. 4 cells are good for some pan cars, and 7, well if you want bashing punch! ( I use 6 though)

I am an LRP fan all the way but when comparing the IPC Pro Sport to the Novak Dually I would choose the Dually...
LRP Pro Sport Novak Dually
----------------- ------------------
On-resistance 0.01 0.00070
BEC 5V 6V
Rated Current 340A 400A
Input voltage 4-8 cells 4-7 cells
Motor Limit none none
Just based on those specs I would go for the Dually

I picked up a Dually and I like it! Big step up from my Tekin G-12C.
