How to insert pictures?

How do you insert pictures into these posts? I tried with some jpg's (640x480 high res.) and nothing would go in, does the size matter (files were 150k)? Do the pictures have to be included as attachments. Appreciate any assistance.

Its a secret rite of passage - you passed when you asked!

Altho the rules don't say there are several restrictions

Max 40kb - I think
max 640 X 480
Must be landscape - ie not 480 x 640!

So you have hit the max size restriction - you need to find a program that allows you to save the jpeg as a smaller file
