By the way, I've found the manual online with the WayBack Machine (www.archive.org), and it has a complete parts list, even though 80% of the parts have been discontinued years ago. :\

Double-XT (http://web.archive.org/web/20010612115000/www.teamlosi.com/pdfs/exploded/xxt.pdf)

Double-XT CR (http://web.archive.org/web/20010612112128/www.teamlosi.com/pdfs/exploded/xxtcr.pdf)

Double-XT CR Graphite Plus (http://web.archive.org/web/20010612101132/www.teamlosi.com/pdfs/exploded/xxtgraph.pdf)

Double-X Buggy (http://web.archive.org/web/20040209232601/www.teamlosi.com/pdfs/exploded/xx.pdf)

Double-X CR buggy (http://web.archive.org/web/20010612121433/www.teamlosi.com/pdfs/exploded/xxcr.pdf)

Double-X CR Kinwald (http://web.archive.org/web/20010612112237/www.teamlosi.com/pdfs/exploded/kinwald.pdf)

(May be common knowledge to some but...)
Major differences and available/swappable/acceptable parts:

XXT-CR-Graphite Plus has two slippers, one on each side of a XX4 spur gear...

Buggies have shorter arms than the trucks...

Wheels have been discontinued, but XXX (NON-CR) wheels will work...

Tires are still available, though they may have changed the part numbers.

Wheel guards (those lexan cones) are gone. Good luck finding a pair... :\

Most of the chassis parts have been discontinued, so it's a dig on eBay for parts... And you'll most likely get sniped on parts chasses...

Associated makes an anodized aluminum screw set, though enough digging at a respectable hardware/farm & fleet store will return most of the proper (and a few improv) screws/washers/nuts/bolts/etc... I found a whole set for my new Graphite rear arms (shock mounts) at Runnings, along with the PERFECT little washers for hub spacers... Found a replacement drive pin (that little bugger that turns the wheels in the back) at Mac's Hardware... Was running on a chunk of body clip, but that is solid soft steel, as opposed to a hardened rolled pin, the former being way too easy to twist out of shape... Sure beats forking out 4 bucks for a new drive spindle, just for that little bugger of a pin...

XX shock bodies are gone... IIRC, Losi Parts House suggests XXX shock bodies (threaded even), and I suggest complete overhaul to XXX shocks (not sure if they work, though...)

XX turnbuckles are gone, but they still make Lunsford Titaniums, and if you're a penny-pincher like me, XXX turnbuckles will work. If you don't have the turnbuckle tool for XXX tb's, use the XX tool on the ball joint ends and a pliers (with a sock or some sort of rag between the jaws to keep from scraping and deforming the steel) around the thicker part... They're hella tight in their ball joint ends, and will pop right off of XX balls if you try twisting on them... :\

Stickers are gone. A few members of forums might have a sticker sheet, but they're quite rare and most likely expensive... They're going to be like Ming vases pretty soon... :\

DuraTrax Evader ST/BX/EXT parts are a bit different... Some have more mounting positions, some have fewer... As far as I can tell, here are the parts that look like they'll fit:

Shock towers, front and rear (Trucks are the same, the Buggy front tower for the Evader is tubular like the trucks, whereas the XX buggy is stamped sheet...)
Hub Carriers
C-hub carrier things for the front end
Spindle carriers, the arms are a bit different
Wheels (front/rear)
Battery strap (I still prefer the pseudo-velcro XX-T straps, but I'm sort of a purist...)
Wing wire and plastic wing clip things, but the wing clip things are a bit different...
Front body mount riser
Front skid plate, in all the ugly DuraTrax colors, look like they'll work.

SERVO COVERS WON'T WORK WITHOUT THE FRONT BULKHEAD, AND NOT SURE IF THEY'LL WORK WITH THE CHASSIS ITSELF...

Evader bulkhead doesn't hinge/pin at the top like the Losi variant. Luckily, Losi still makes front bulkheads (at time of posting)...

--I believe the entire drivetrain (minus transmission housing and upper gears) will work, Diff to lug nuts...
-Outdrives are different (made for Dogbones) so if you have the 2-piece slipper driveshafts, use LOSI outdrives, part number LOSA 3095. No idea about a dogbone outdrive number for Losi...
-Tranny housing looks WAY different, but might work with some trimming.
-Idler gear (the middle tranny gear) looks like it's the same, but the shaft is different (fatter and/or shorter), and can be had for cheaper if you get a Losi gear...
-Diff gear is the same, but LOSI diff gear (P/N LOSA3076 is cheaper (Tower vs. Losi Parts House)

I do believe the shocks are identical between Evader and XX, so if you're a purist, you can use the slab-side Evader shock bodies, even with your XX shock hardware...

It seems the REAR BULKHEAD, especially limited on tuning holes, won't work... They look like they mount on opposite sides...

Motor guard between Evader and XX are different, and looks a bit funny... I'd rather have the XX motor guard/mount.

Also, DuraTrax bodies are ugly compared to the Losi bodies.

----------------
That's about all I know on swappable parts...

Also, everyone who loves these kits should e-mail Losi and demand (or ask politely) that they do a limited-edition "Vintage" reprint of the sticker sheets. :)
