Hi,

Instead of me saving up the cash for a new buggy, would anyone recomend a used one? And if so, what would you get?
Im looking at used B3's and XXX's but what about the old XXCR's etc. Would they be a good buy and can you still get parts for them? What about a B2 or a Old Worlds Car?

Let me know your opinions!

Thanks!

I would take a look at your LHS and see what parts they have in stock and ask them if they are planning on keeping them in stock. I know by reading another thread "ditching losi" that people are having a really hard time finding parts for older losi kits. A B3 is still considered a current car as AE hasn't released a B4 and I know you can still get parts for a B2 or even "upgrade" it to a B3. AE seems to offer parts for older kits a lot longer then losi does.

hope this helps-

Alot of people don't relize that alot of xx series parts are still avialible through horizon hobbies. There was a big discusion that was previously mentioned and then if you take the time to read the part that was needed was found at horizon for like 8.99 or similar. I just purchased a xxtcr and my local hobby shop happens to still carry lots of parts for it. You should check your LHS I believe that was already said. Also try to find out the pro's and con's of each kit and compare them to your track. Some cars perform better on rougher track and some on less rough tracks look into this it may help or influence your choice. And to go used can be a bad dicision but could be a great one. I just recently got my xxtcr like I said and I got a great deal. Look into it ask alot of questions pics are a great help, make sure its what you want and not just something thats cheaper, cause it may not do what you want it to later on.
