This is my first car ever, and i am close to finihing it... though i have one problem and one question:

Problem:
When i switch the ESC on, and then turn the Transmitter on, the servo kicks on and goes all the way to the right, and stays there, no matter what i do with the transmitter, an makes a whinning sound as it tries to keep going to the right. What is making it do this and how would i go about fixing it??

Question:

Right when i switch the ESC on, the engine kicks to life, and for a split second jolts, and moves the car just a tad. Then when i turn the transmitter on, it does at again. Is this normal or somthing i have to tweek? Doesnt seamt o cause any problems bnut im wondering if it hurts the Tranny or Dif any..

Thanks a bunch if you can help me out at all!! Thank you!

P.S. The Servo is a HiTek if that helps any.

You should always turn your radio on before your car, and always turn your car off before your radio. It's normal for it to jolt forward when you first turn it on.

Take the servo saver ( or steering arm or whatever) off the servo, turn on your radio gear, and allow the servo to center itself, then put the steering arm back on while the servo is centered.

Center up the trims on your transmitter before you do this.
Hope this helps. I'll be here for a while if you have any more questions.
