Out of the main three categories.

which one is the hardest to flip?

1) electric or nitro buggy
2) electric or nitro stadium truck
3) electric or nitro monster truck

Based on the replies of this post. I will make my absolute final decision on what will be my next and possible last RC.

What I'm looking for in my next RC be it an Electric or Nitro is the following. This are the 5 key components that My next RC MUST have.

1) Impossible to flip
2) Top speed around 40-50 MPH
3) Awesome handling
4) Above average suspension system
5) A chassis that is almost bombproof

Electric only has 1/10 buggies, which look very very stable to me, because they are low profile. Nitro buggies are basicly only 1/8 scale, and I doubt they would flip too easily. Both nitro and electric truck's won't really flip either, maybe in a carpet track race if you get a traction roll, but they are pretty stable. Monsters will flip, or atleast lift one if the tires off the ground. They will flip on high traction surfaces , and they also have such a high center of gravity.

I don't know why flipping is such a big thing for you but whatever...

You will be putting in a bit of extra money to get an electric truck to go 40-50 MPH, and there is a limit between gearing and torque you want to have. A nitro will take a bit of work also too unless you have it tuned right, good dearing, engine, ect.

Nothing is impossible to flip.

Suggestions for trucks:

Team Losi XXXT, Team Losi XXXNT
Team Associated T3, Team Associated RC10gt
Team Losi XXX, Team Associated B3

I don't know about 1/8 cars. The Team associated's have legendary transmissions, and have been some of the best trucks around, as with the Losi's.

www.rc10.com or www.teamlosi.com to check out stuff.

Looks like you want an 1/8th scale buggy to me. Something like the Kyosho MP7.5 would be a good choice. Although, the buggy, just like anything, could still flip if you had the right conditions (so could a Serpent Veteq).

I would recomend a 1/8th buggy if you have money and nitro experience or a 1/10th stadium truck. I have seen all cars and trucks flip before, it dosn't matter very much about what kind it is as long as you have it set up right.

Wouldn't the Duratrax Thunder Quake fit the bill. Because it has 4 out of 5 things that are in my MUST have list. That only thing it doesn't have is the Top speed of around 40 -50 MPH.

you would have to go to the Thunder Quake Forum (http://www.radiocontrolzone.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=64020) and ask. I'm not sure if it covers all four of those. You should also read the review in RCCA.

Let's just say i want to venture into the Nitro buggy stadium.

What's the best and the cheapest yet the fastest and strongest Nitro buggy kit w/engine out there?

Also would a Kit w/Engine be better for a First Nitro RC compared to a RTR version.

At some point your gonna have to do your own reasearch. Go to LHS, and Pick up a copy of Radio control car action and a copy of Radio control nitro. It should tell you lot's of info.:)

also go get the rcca buyers guide coming out in just a few short days so I have read. that will outline just about every vehicle in every catagory, tell you what to look for etc. Then you have to read.. read.. read about them. I'm looking at getting a 1/8 buggy right now, and can tell you there is lots to look at, lots to consider, and def a budget to be set, these things are $$$ so go get the mags. Also if you want the rcca reviews of cars, you can look at the latest issue of rcca at the review of the storm pro, and in the box where it tallies it against the mp 7.5, mbx 4xr, hyper 7 pro etc it will tell you when they reviewed each of those kits, and you can purchase back issues from rcca at their site.

Or I could just leave the Nitro RC's to the Nitro experts and stay with Electric RC's. Since those are the RC's I prefer over the Nitro RC's. But the Major thing is this there is no Electric 4wd Buggy that I like. And there are alot of Nitro buggies out there that I do like. the Hyper 7 RTR, Storm RTR, and MP 7.5 Kit just to name a few. Another major factor is that I'm a little Unsure of myself when it comes to Breakin-in a Nitro engine since I have never ever own an RC with a Nitro engine. The way I think all Nitro RC's should come is with Pre-broken in engine. That way we can just add the fuel and go. Another possible plan is to just face my fear of breaking in a Nitro engine and just do it. Because I have to learn sooner or later. Back to the three Nitro buggies I listed above I like the Review of the Hyper 7 RTR better than the other two. That's another problem Greathobbies in P.E.I said when I E-Mailed them that if I wanted an Ofna RC it would have to be a special order. Because they don't stock them. I guess I could phone the BC Shaver shop in Victoria B.C. and ask them if they stock Ofna RC's and ask them how much a Hyper 7 RTR would cost me.

Afraid of breaking in an engine?? Its very easy... just follow the instructions, and it will go by like nothing, and you can be driving a crazy fast buggy:D
You prob wont have any trouble at all breaking it in......

Breakin' in the engine is almost the easiest part! you just put fuel in and let it idle. Make sure to follow the directions.

Get the latest issue of RC Nitro. It has the best way to break in the engine.
