I have just started flying a 40 size trainer, just soloed in fact, and I also have been trying to get a GWS Tigermoth in the air to use in the local park since I drive about an hour to fly the big one. I have an old .10 size engine from a kit I wrecked trying to learn on by my self years ago. I am looking for some ideas for a good second glow plane for this engine. A mild aerobatic plane? A floater of some kind? Where I fly my Glow plane, a dry lake in the desert, it is almost always blowing 10 or 15 mph, but it is usually steady and it doesn't bother the larger planes much. I am guessing that a smaller plane might be a handfull. But with light enough wing loading I might be able to fly it at the park. The motor is very quiet. Any ideas?
Thanks
Max

You could look into a 1/12 scale "combat" style plane. Either a balsa/ ply or foamie(nearly indestructable). Try www.picaweb.com or www.rccombat.com
