I want to move the capacitor on my cyclone so its farther away from the driveshaft on my TC3. Right now its soldered directly to the posts. If I added wire, so it could be relocated, what guage should I use? Would cheapo 20AWG be OK, or should I use 16-14 AWG?

i would personally use 16 or thinner gauge, it get tough soldering heaps of wire :D

So the capacitor doesnt draw much current? The 20 AWG I have has a strand count of about 12. I dont want to have huge resistance, but I still want the wires to be flexible.

that will be fine, just take a look at the C2s. They have around 20 gauge wire, maybe even smaller for thier capacitors.

The wire on my TC2 looks to be about 20 gauge to the capacitor.

Thanks
That makes things a lot easier
