I have a battery bar that seems to be oxidized (it has light blue film with fingeprints). My question is how do you remove it? I have tried soap, polisher and other cleaners to no avail.

maybe a brillo pad but that might take off the paint....

Its a polished aluminum bar? Or is it anodized? You could try using oven cleaner, but if its anodized it may strip off the anodizing as well.

It is anodized I believe. I definitely don't want to do anything that will remove this.
