E-Maxx problem

i just get off the box a brand new e-maxx and surprse,,we install battrey on it,,open handle,,,open switch on the truck and the truck still on the fast idle
terrible,,please help me

are you talking about a tmaxx or emaxx??
emaxx; program the speed control

tmaxx; follow the directions on how to break in the motor and adjust the carb
