I'm new to the hobby, and recently I purchased the supernova 250s as my charger. I love this charger. One thing I cannot figure out-- how do you quickcharge NiMH batteries with this charger. I have a 300mAh NiMH but it takes about an hour to charge it. Does anyone know a shorter way with this charger?

You need to set a custom setting in one of the 10 pre-programmable pack settings.

Read the manual. It is your friend.

How are you coming on the laser cutting enterprise? What would I need to send you to do one? I am not very good with computers.

My friend the owner's manual has let me down:( . As a commercial pilot, you may believe the manual is the first thing I read. My problem is not really addressed, and I wondered if any Supernova owners have good shortcuts.

According to the article "Rx for Small Cells", the 2x charge value for a 300mAh NiMH should be .6amps, right? When you enter 300mAh in the preset process for the Supernova it does not allow you to set the charge to .6 amps... Am I missing something?

Please help--Thanks

Voyagerpa:

I'll have to go and get my charger out of the car to do a step by step explaination. Or I could just photo copy my manual if I can find it.

Excellent! Thank you for your kind help.
Suppose I set my 300mAh battery as 600mAh in the presets--This would allow me to use .6a for a quick charge, would it damage my battery?
