I just threw my blackfoot away this past weekend, I've had it 15 yrs at least and it was held together by glue and oversized nuts and bolts, finally broke most of the front end so I figured its time to toss it. I still have my JRX-Pro, hopefully that will last a while longer!

I just got my first RC10 gold tub... wanted one forever... remember when they came out with the RC10t, that was the end of racing Blackfoots, Big Bears and the like...

Here are a few of the RC10's that I own... The Stealth Team car is all original except for the fact that I regret adding the blue screw kit to it and molded shock caps. I'll eventually swap them back to the originals one day.

The gold pan car isn't totally original as it's a wide arm car, but it's pretty close. It now has front tires but they aren't in the photo as it's an older picture.

I also have a nearly mint 6 gear graphite car and a few other gold pan cars but I'll have to post pics later...

MIP used to make a planetary differential for the original RC10 transmission (pre-stealth). Does anyone have one of these or any information on them?

Gee no one has been on this thread in a while.

I am still running my RC10 Championship edition. Although I had broken some stuff and finding the parts in white is difficult, so some parts are black now including the chassis... which I had banged up pretty bad when I was younger. (I got the car when I was about 12 or 13)

Still a fun car though and by far my favorite. I really want to get this car hauling. SO... I am looking to go brushless with it.

the EZrun combos seem affordable and nice. I have read a lot of good stuff about them.

I want to be able to pop up the front and but I also want the car to move (doesn't need to go 50 but that would be cool)

recommendations on what turn (or kv) motor I should get?

Something like a 17.5T so you don't smash the idler gear
I use a 24degree stock brush motor in my RC10ce and a 10T bl in my RC10T/T2 hybrid

cool... right now I am trying to run a 8T motor in it and the batteries get crazy hot.

I am thinking the 8T motor is overkill for it, or is there something else I can do?
