Hi,
Just wanted to share my latest video.
Warning - Unless Zack shrunk it, it is 25mb. If you have a fast connection and download it, maybe you can leave an opinion here so someone with a slower connection will have a better idea if they should even bother. ;)
You can see it here thanks to Zack/Ducatti. :) Its in the headline as well as the downloads section.

Ok, everyone has seen your MP with the .50 and we've seen plenty an EK-4 with the .70 as well. So my question is, why bother when there's a .21 like your Collari on the market.
I mean, a .21 is a direct fit and it looks like you're pulling into wheel stands from 15 to 20mph in the video. That's crazy power. Are you as happy with this performance as the .50 Heli engine?

Bill,
They are all unique. Theirs no doubt the .21's are absolutely amazing.
That was my brothers MP in the video. We have 3 of them that were all exact before I put the .50 in mine. They all performed exactly like the one in the video.
My brother holds the record for the longest wheelie. We stopped even trying after he rode one so far down the driveway that the truck dropped out of site heading straight for the utility pole. At that point he just let off of the trigger and crossed his fingers and toes that the truck would be OK. It rolled to a stop off of the side of the drive and never hit anything.
The EK4 just has so much tourqe that its out of control. They are fun too, but in a different way than the Collari/MP's. They need a bigger fuel tank though. They are thirsty SOB's.
I had the .50 in my possesion from a Heli that I had years ago and thought it would be neat to retro it into my MP. It's kind of between the Collari and the EK's. It doesn't have so much power that you can't do anything with it, but it has a lot of low end tourqe which is what the Collari's are missing due to their displacement. The Collari might be one of the best .21's in the tourqe department, but they still don't hold a candle to an EK4 or even the .50 for immediate off the line response. They sure do go like stink once you get them moving a little though. :D
I'm still playing with the .50, but today was a bad day with it. I'm using a clutch setup from an EK4 and they are really giving us a lot of grief. Even in the EK's with stock gearing they have given us a lot of grief. I'm not done playing with it yet, but in the end it's possible that my Collari will find itself back in the MP. I just love the sound of the .50 when everything is going well. And the instant wheelies EK4 style are fun too. It doesn't quite have the revs with the gearing I have been playing with to ride the wheelies out like the Collari's do though and I'm still working on a good clutch setup and possibly my third exhaust for it.
Enough rambling for now.
I guess the only way I can really answer your question is with another question.
Why settle for an MP with a .21 when you can have an MP with a .21, an MP with a .50 and an EK4 with a .70?
If I could only have one of them, it would probably be the MP with the Collari at this point. ;)

MadMidn,
What glowplug are you running in your EK-4 and fuel? I know you may be tired of this question: what are you needle settings also?

Techspert,
Coolpower 30% Heli Fuel, MC-59 Plugs.
OS#8's should work as well and actually are recommended by Ace when running 30%.

Sweet Vid Jack!!
Lots of mid range power on the Collari, it seems.
