So far we've only had one engine failure. It was due to someone running it way too lean. The Norvel runs great. Once it's tuned, I've not had to do anything with it. It usually fires on the first hit on the starter box. We run them on a 365ft banked asphalt oval. We've been racing them since Winter. Very low maintenance, and a blast to run.

I was wondering if any other bodies fit the nitro legends besides the legend bodies? I really want to get a nitro legend for my shop so we can race on fridays after work. I was hoping to get a camaro 68' body cause i love that car. thanks for any help.

what kind of speed can you get out of the cars with the stock gearing, and what type of clutch and spur gear they use. thinking of trying them on 200ft banked concrete oval.

i have a friend that is trying to get me into nitro trucks. i'd like to test the water before i shell out a few hundred on a savage, so i was thinking about a simple nitro car. i have considered one of the nitro legends, but from reading this thread, i see that the stock engine needs a starter box. has anyone tried to run a different engine in one? i'd prefer to not bother with the starter box.
I have tried to locate to purchase this car..no luck.. very rare..even on ebay RARE.
The new company CDIracing sais they will sell them but they are a month late..so..no luck yet.
