What are good sources to get specifications and technical drawings for that scale project? I'm building a Space Shuttle and can't find drawings with the detail I require like the airfoil/fuselage cross sections for example.

Thanks for any help

Hi Ka6,
I don't know of any really good 3-view type drawings, but it is fairly common to get a decent plastic model and take your measurements from that. Even scale events allow a plastic model to be used in the documentation. I doubt if NASA has "officially" released drawings of the shuttle although you can also get a lot of good stuff from photographs.
Good luck,
Dave

Some months ago I stumbled onto a rocketry website that featured the space shuttle and SRB/Fuel tank. This guy had precise line drawings for the SRB corrugation sections etc. Do a GOOGLE search for S. Shuttle and rocketry, then switch to image search. It is bound to come up.
