im intrested in buying one of these 2 helicopters. They seem like a good deal and i can use my radio equipment that i have right now to fly them. I was thinking about getting the standard combo for the 110 which inlcuded the kit, gyro, and engine. Its was priced at around 260 bucks. now what kind of starter would i need for this heli. And im already got a gas car so would the igniter i have also work for the 110s Vmax engine. Is there anything else i would need besides what comes in the combo, fuel, and starting equipment and the radio system. Thanx.

Im in a similar situation that the one u state.
Personally I would never get an electric (neither chopper, car nor plane). So far Ive found that the feeling of nitro is 10 times better and the time for fun is greater because u just got to refuel.
How ever in other forums Ive asked about the model 110 and was told that it is a good machine but lil' harder to fly than most .30 helicopters because of the fixed pitch ( but of course cheaper).
The only thing wrong besides that is the norvel engine, that has proven problems with the most common brands and is said not that reliable. But I havnt seen any engine of that made running yet.
The difference is that I want to buy this chopper as a second to be able to be stress-free. One ("normal")crash with a .30 bird would be no less than 75 bucks, and with a LMH no more than 15 or even nothing).
I would say go for the lmh 110... its a good deal for the price!
The stability, quietness and the non-cleaning advantages of the electrics are just not enough for me... The sound and the feeling is uncomparable! and the flying time!
Do you like mechanics and don't bother to sit an try for an hour to make an engine run? If the answer was defenitly no, well get the corona.
I just ordered a LMH 110!

Up to you....:D

I have a lot of expiriance with engines and electrics. And i usualy just go for which ever one is cheaper because they both have there advantages and disadvantages.

and i cant really get the heli now cause i have to spend some of my funds on a new pull start for my RC truck and get a new air plane. But i probably will get one in the not to distant future. Or i might get the piccolo heli. That looks pretty cool to and its a little bit cheaper than the Corona or Model 110. But i cant find a place that carrys them and the picco bord and has them in stock.

thanx for the help tho.

and where would i find a starter for the model 110 at because i cant find one any where.
