Hello Povs,
Model Airplane News has a plan for a model called the Kaos Jr. It is a recent design and would do really well with 2-channel control. You can also find a plan for the Perky Plus at Model Aviation. Either one should suit.

If I remember right, the Guillow's Skyhawk will let you go up to a .09 or there abouts. I have one in the box and have built one a while back. You will need to beef up the landing gear by using HEAVIER WIRE, as the supplied wire will just barely hold up the plane. I would have to look at the box to see about the wheels, but if I remember right, the kit comes with wooden main and plastic(two piece) nose wheels. The plane comes with parts for making it a control line plane, but with MICRO R/C GEAR and the lightest possible battery pack, I don't see why it wouldn't work for elevator/rudder control. Good luck with whatever you build
