Sorry for asking this question, it has probably been asked on this forum before but I wasn't able to find it by doing a search.

I have been trying to figure out what the difference is between the foam tire compounds.

Purple = Soft?
Double Purple = Semisoft?
Red = ?
Margenta =?

I've seen compounds from blue to black to red to white. What is the difference?

Thanks for any answers that are given.

red/firm(40+)/asphault-carpet/excellent/moderate

silver/soft(20)/dusty asphault/very good/very good

These are the 1:10/1:12th scale pan car tires that I know. I dont have any premounted touring car foam compounds though. But there you go just to give you some idea. If you look on the back of the Proline/Jaco foam tire package there should be a chart with all this information.

Hey no problem, its what I'm here for. If you need it I can try to get the premounted touring car foam compounds for Proline/Jaco. I can just look it up at the track the next weekend.

I emailed Pro-Line/Jaco to see if they could help. The do have a very nice chart made up for their truck tire line.
