before you put in the 2 speed you better have the steel gears. It won't last with the plastic gears...

I haven't seen the steel gears for the MP 2-speed. Do you have a reference to them?

Try leaving the stock derlins in until they bomb out. I have the 2 speed and am running a SBK-01 with no problems. I'm not saying they're the greatest, nor not to order the steel replacements, just use em till you break em, you may be surprised.
A lot of people break em as well as the bell so you may want to get a spare one too. Check your mesh and you should be good.

Actually, the stock Delrin gears are pretty strong.
When getting up into the higher end engines, WS7 C4 Collari, then you will need the steel gears.

Forgot to mention that I have a thundertiger pro .21 in it. It has a pilot shaft so you can get a good gear mesh. I used the stock plastic gear with no problems.Have 4 to 5 gal. thru it that way. Will use the stock two speed gears till I need a new set then will get the steel gears. 2 speed works fine now that there's a pin in it.
