Im thinking about quitting r/c for good, ive got everything i need but, i never get to race anymore, there is no sense in me keeping my XXXT MFE w/ all my stuff( a lot ) so, im thinking about calling it quits. What do you think about that?

I agree with ya, Pack all that stuff up and send it to me right away! I'll be sure to dispose of it properly.;)

Its not just about the racing. Its about doing something you enjoy. Getting enjoyment of just plain driving. Take your MFE and go bashing if you can't race. You don't need people to bash with, or a track. I love running my LXT in the backyard through all the "real offroad" stuff. I didn't buy my storm to race. I bought it to bash and thrash around the local undeveloped areas with lots of dirt and hills (jumps). So if you are having doubts, which is probably why you posted here, then just stick with it. Go by a few sport 1500 packs and have fun! That's what it is all about.:) Even if you have a race vehicle. hey, I said I bash my LXT didn't I? It is a race vehicle. Anyway...your decision though. We'd hate to see ya go...

Why arent you racing? I have gone a couple months without racing, i think it was 4 months before last January. Just stick it out and race when you can. Just make sure you get as much practice time as you can before the heats. Race for the fun, not for the finish position.

No offense, but why did you post this? Do you want us to talk you out of it? If you want to quit, just quit. Who cares?

Try going the whole winter after putting together a Nitro TC3 without being able to drive it in anything other then covered parking garages. That is enough to drive you mad. If racing is still fun for you, then find a way to make it work, otherwise find another hobby that is more compatible with your lifestyle. I took up RC because my primary hobby, Horses, is just waaayyyy to expensive so I found something (RC) that is a little cheaper and doesn't involve nearly as much time.

It's called a sympathy post. Anyways, anything you don't send to Speedtester, send to me. I'll find a child to donate the stuff to so they can enjoy the awesome experience of R/C. :)

I think you give up too easily. Pure & Simple....

If you "can't bash" a XXX-T... why is it that my friend and I drive his XXX-NT all the time around the yard, the street... everywhere...

I can't stand it when these people say "I can't bash my vehicle"

SURE YOU CAN!!! You can take a NTC3 and "bash" !!!!! that's what RC is for!!

I just spent over $700 on a Hyper 7 pro... and I'll only be able to race once a month with it...

all's I can stay is stop WHINING, charge up that battery, shave off the knobs on your rear tires..... and GO DRIVE THE THING.

i am not giving it to anyone, and TC3 ben you are dumb, i care, i have been in this for a long time i just dont really feel like quitting w/o some opinions of other r/c racers....and i cant charge a battery and go run the knobs off of my tires, it is always raining or snowing here, and when its not i got to work.

Just get a Canned Heat, or Mini racer of some kind and drive it around your house. 78 days with out r/c isn't that long. Try 12 YEARS and then you can cry.

umm.. but as was asked above, why can't you race? Is it because you have an outdoors track and it's been winter? If so, winter's over, it'll be warm again soon & there'll be racing! :)

AE: Actually, I perfectly understand his position of not wanting to bash his XXX-T MFE.. I refuse to drive my XXX-T MFE anywhere but the track too. But on the other hand my XXX-NT I'll bash as much as I want.. don't ask why, I can't explain my reasons.

I'm sure you have one good upperclassman freind who is willing to tote you around for one day. I mean, who could resist spending their time watching their freind win races?

For all you asking for his truck, BACK THE **** off!;)
I asked first.

On a serious note, I honestly think if you choose to get out of the hobby you will regret it and end up buying another R/C in the near future. I've seen many people do this, after a while you get withdrawls and end up back in the hobby.

I'm only 14, and anything I do that's bad, my parents threaten to stop taking me to the track...I totally understand why you don't want to bash with your XXXT MFE; I refuse to bash with my T3. I don't want to put excess wear and tear on the car's parts. I just bought a FTGT about a month ago, and I bash with that because it's fun, but I also have some other cars to bash with. I'd keep your stuff if I were you, you never know what will happen, and if you're 15, you will be getting your license soon, and you will be able to drive yourself to the track. 'Til then, buy a basher! I have several bashers, so I can have some variety around the house. Hold out man, you'll get to the track soon! I have a year and a half before I get my license, consider yourself lucky. Have fun, and don't sell/give anything away!:)
