Man I wish I thought about something like that sooner. When I had my N Pede I use to use a drill to start it all the time. But now I am all electric. But I still like that idea.

that looks sweet, u might want to change the title to T-maxx, seeing as a drill to start an e-maxx is a little redundant, don't cha think?

Well done racers edge. Personally I prefer the pull start, but when that thing comes apart man is that a pain. I might just have to pick up one of those, but $80 is a bit much.

Well $80 is suggest retail. It should go for less than that. I bet it will be around $50 bucks or so.

I love that thing. I hope they come out for other engines soon. I'm curious about the method that it uses to spin the crank. I mean, the traditional always hooked up method or the Duratrax and some OFNA spring and pin in rod journal method. Does anyone get that question? :(

I think I know what your talking about Bill... I think. :D

To me, judging by the design of the case, I would say that its got two ring gears one that lays horizontal and one that lays vertical. They mess together... really pretty simple stuff. I just wish I could have thought of it. Then I'd be in the money

I was thinking about inside the crankcase. But then I realized that on the MAXX, they can just ignore all of that and retrofit to the outer shaft with a common one-way.

It's their solution for other, non-pullstart engines I'd be curious about. I suppose they are only thinking of conversions for existing pullstart engines.
