You created the GW Sport.I read about it in the spring issue of Backyard Flyer,plus your other articles.Is this a good airplane for a beginner? I've never built a scratch model before.I like the way you built it out of wood.That makes it strong and lite.I already have the GWS flight equipment.I will be ordering the plan soon.Thanks for the great articles.

Hello John,
The GW Sport has about the same flight properties as the GWS Tigr Moth with the power and equipment shown in the article. It is easy enough to fly that it could well be a trainer. Like most, it would be a good idea to provide a little extra "elbow room" on those first flights.
When you mention a "stick" version, are you referring to a built up fuselage or something more like the Pico Stik with a framed up wing and tail?

a stick built up of wood.fuselage,wing and tail surfaces.They seem to be more durable than the foam ones. I all ready have one of those foam ones.(GWS Stick FD) Is there one in the works??.
