When I airbrush, I always get this dry, cobwebby stuff around the area I am painting. It messes up the paint and it's annoying! What is it, why do I have it, and how do I get rid of it??

Thanks,

Use thinner paint. Your paint is to thick.

Pactra paint, especially their black needs to be thinned to about the consistancy of water, and even then it cobwebs sometimes.

a good rule of thumb is to thin the paint 50-50 . . . then I usally set my compressor at 15-20psi, I have had good luck this way
hope this helps!

I tried thinning the paint with their own thinner, and it didn't mix with the paint; it was like trying to mix oil and water. What gives? It was the think yellow paint, forget the actual color name. It was cobwebbing like crazy.
